Silent Sifters®

Silent Sifters^® from Gilson Company retains the innovative design of the Rotary Sifter, while significantly reducing noise levels during test cycles.

The particle size range is No. 4 to No. 635 (4.75mm to 20µm). Sieve stack capacity ranges from 6 12in full-height sieves to 20 8in half-height sieves plus pan. Sieve stacks are rotated by a stainless steel drive roller system within the dust-containing cabinet. Two models of the Silent Sifter^® are available:

Silent Sifter^® reduces noise levels 7 to 10dB lower than other sifters on the market. The steel frame of this model is mounted on 4in hard rubber swivel casters for easy mobility.

Silent Sifter^® II is the quietest version of the Rotary Sifter. This unit is engineered with advanced soundproofing materials resulting in sound levels 16 to 18dB lower than other sifters on the market. A heavy-duty, over-center lever latch pulls the door tightly against the case gasket, ensuring a tight, dust-proof seal, enhancing noise control. Hard rubber swivel casters are included for easy mobility.
