Manual Soil Compaction Hammers

Soil Compaction Hammers are sliding drop proctor hammers used for the Proctor Compaction of soil samples. The Hammers are constructed of 100% 303 stainless steel to ensure corrosion resistance and long service life. Hammer masses are enclosed in guide sleeves with vent holes that guarantee unrestricted free fall.

Welded to the tube is a heavy, knurled, hexagonal cap that creates a secure, comfortable grip during use and prevents rolling during storage. All hammer models have a 2in (51mm) flat, circular face.

Standard Soil Compaction Hammer has a 5.5lb (2.5kg) hammer mass with a 12in (305mm) drop.

Modified Soil Compaction Hammer has a 10lb (4.5kg) hammer mass and an 18in (457mm) drop.
