The CBR Mold Set is used when compacting soil samples in preparation for California Bearing Ratio (CBR) strength testing. CBR Molds can be used with Proctor Hammers or a Mechanical Soil Compactor. The Mold Set includes all three necessary components to meet ASTM and AASHTO test standards Mold, Collar, and a perforated Base with wing nuts and threaded rods. All components are constructed of heavy, rust-resistant zinc-plated steel.
